WEAKNESS

Take the cub from the wolf

And the wolf becomes ravingly

Mad as a hatter

Take the fish from the waters

And it becomes dead as the doorknob

Lifeless as the certain stone

Take love from the lover

And time flies pointlessly

Life becomes pathless

Oceans become not more than waters

And sacrifices become meaningless

Lovers are strong in love

So are they weak in love

They become the wildfire that burns down twigs of obstacles

Sometimes, they become scars to themselves that never go way

They become antidotes to each other’s monstrosities

They become weaknesses wrought by Cupid’s arrows

That often make better

HYPOCRITES

As the bats suckle

The squalid nights

And the ravenous vipers

Feed on the freckled sands

So does men embody all cankers

But in varying degrees

Some would seek salvation from essence

By embracing their darkness

And ceaselessly toil to make the ways untainted

But some would choose to be the poseurs

Feigning obeisance when all thereis is disdain

Strutting with holy smiles

And loving with profane hearts

The heavens are far from the earth

And a man wobbles closely by his grave

So we are,in the end, hypocrites in varying degrees

Only that some want to be better men, while some bask in it .
